Shakers on a Lathe
A new form for rcboisjoli, this little salt shaker will be clad in vintage Canadian philatelic (postal) decals.The model below was turned in two stages. A base was first turned to create a foot but in negative. Secondly, the shaker was cast directly on the base automatically generating the foot.
The base, turned with the foot ring in negative.
The model for the shaker was cast and turned directly on the base.
The resulting model and foot ring ready to go.
