Collected: Twins

In Appreciation of Bottles

Out of all the bottles I have, these two bottles are the closest to a matching pair I could find.



Squared off and slightly distorted in form, this pair are close in body but not in neck. They could have been from the same mold, but from different makers, at a different production run. The necks and lips on bottles around 1850 were generally hand formed in the blowing process, which would explain their differences.
