Testing Testing

Fresh from the kiln and wired up this afternoon, this is the prototype for rcboisjoli's newest

lanterns. Simple but elegant tin lantern inspired form with discrete lighting and hanging mechanics.

Shown here on the edge of my loft bed. 

Shown here with the classic Chevaux de Bois horse only as a test. The decal only shows from the inside when the lantern is illuminated. I'm hoping to explore the relationship of inside/outside with bold geometric lines. More to come soon!
