Flora Found: Queen Anne's Lace

Queen Anne's Lace: Railpath

Wild Carrot or Queen Anne's Lace was brought over to Canada by British immigrants and it has now become naturalized. Bi-annual and self seeding, this lacy beauty grows all across southern Ontario.
Shown below in a our popular Horse Bowl (currently sold out in our store)

Large umbrella like heads contain hundreds of smaller flowers in in star-burst like suspension. Note the tiny single purple flower right in the middle, a feature most blossoms contain.
