Last Minutes
Often we find ourselves scrambling at the last minute to finish this and that for shows. We are definitely getting better with each show, as we build stock and experience too. This week is going to be a bit of a whirlwind with new projects, the up coming Bloorcourt Show and a sick friend too. A regular visitor of the studio, with four dusty little paws, has become very sick. Hospital visits have put us behind schedule, but we are getting back on track.
Below is a sample of the patterns deposited on our wiping mats. It just takes a few twists to clean off the glazed feet before they get loaded in to the kiln. Although tedious, it is a very important step to prevent your glazed wares from fusing to the kiln shelves, permanently.
